New adventures
Very excited to share with you all my new adventures. The first new venture is a dye and herb garden. I was looking for a small piece of land to try my hand at growing plants for dyeing. A chance conversation with a friend, Maggie Kingston, has resulted in being given a small part of her garden to use. Hopefully this will be a benefit both of us as Maggie has a lot of garden to manage on her own. The garden includes a wonderful meadow full of really interesting plants and I’ll be showing you more of this glorious hidden gem in the weeks to come. Initially I’m going to be concentrating on two small sections, the terraces where there’s going to be a small poly tunnel and a raised bed. Once I have those established I will be making a start on a patch of ground shaded by an old apple tree.
