Finding space

How do other creatives make space and time to create? Any suggestions please.

I am trying to practice what I am preaching and clear some space and time to create. As you can see by my work table I'm not very good at clearing space. It's only as I try to make time do I realise I allow so many other things to get in the way. Despite a calendar all marked out with jobs when it's supposed to happen, everything and everyone else takes up my time. Answers on a small postcard with suggestions!! Oh and keep them clean!
